Easy Remedies For Your Blushing

It's a very normal reaction to blush if you're taunted of teased.

But if you begin to blush at what seems like every available opportunity, that's a different matter, especially when you blush for no reason at all.

One of the most normal causes of blushing is when you are embarrassed or nervous and sometimes when you eat hot and spicy foods.

The blood vessels open wider and flood the face, making the whole of your face, and even the tips of your ears, turn crimson with the heart palpitating at times.

It's perfectly normal to blush occasionally but if you start to blush too frequently, there's a good chance you'll become more self conscious and your behavior may become more erratic, especially when others are close.

If you don't know any cures for blushing and leave it as it is, there may come a time when you will develop a fear or phobia of it and thus worsen the scenario. 

There are a number of different cures for blushing that are recommended by both doctors and psychiatrists. These vary in their effectiveness but at best will stop your annoying blushing habit.

Some of the cures below are a result of scientific research whilst others are more of an extension of your body's natural ways to relax.

  • As soon as you realize you've started to blush, take some deep breaths. Inhale and exhale deeply, usually for 7-11 seconds, this will help you to calm down and begin to reduce the severity of your blushing.
  • Cut out spicy foods from your diet, at least when you're eating with others and your blushing will be noticed.
  • Try an alternative blushing remedy, such as hypnosis.
